Description

Virtual networks allow you to create isolated network environments in the cloud, just as if you had your own physical infrastructure. You can organize your virtual machines into subnets, define private IP address ranges, and control communication between them.

Use cases: creation of security zones (DMZ), application segmentation, microservices, etc.

Description

Virtual routers are software components that allow traffic to flow between different virtual networks, or between your private cloud and the internet. They support features like NAT (Network Address Translation) and access control lists (ACLs), and can be used to create custom network topologies.

Use cases: connect multiple VPCs, configure custom routes, redirect traffic to specific services.

IPAM (IP Address Management): allows you to centrally manage IP ranges, track address allocation and avoid conflicts.
